20 must see acts at Electric Picnic 2014

R.S.A.G – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow on Saturday, August 30th (10pm)

A perfect way to begin day 3 of Electric Picnic, Kelly-Anne Byrne’s talent for creating playlists composed of soul, funk and R&B gems the D.J’s mid-afternoon set will be sure to provide an up-tempo start to Sunday’s proceedings.

CHANELE MCGUINNESS – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow on Sunday, August 31st (3.15pm)
A songwriter with a deeply individual sound and style Chanele McGuinness is quickly starting to grab the attention of many on the Irish music scene, not least of all Jerry Fish who has included to musician as part of his Electric Sideshow stage line-up.

SOMERVILLE – Earthship Stage on Sunday, August 31st (4.30pm)
An artist I was first captivated by during a live performance in Fumbally Cafe in Dublin, Somerville is a uniquely atmospheric and mood driven performer with a real sense of tone. A definite must see for those looking for a more eclectic Electric Picnic experience.

THE STATICS – Oxjam Stage on Sunday, August 31st (10pm)
Dublin indie-rock outfit the Statics will take to the Oxjam tent on Sunday as part of Abner Brown’s turn in charge of the stage and will bring their a hook-laden take on the indie genre to the Electric Picnic this Sunday.

I HAVE A TRIBE – Body & Soul Stage on Sunday, August 31st (7.15pm)
The release of Yellow Raincoats this year’s identified I Have a Tribe as one of Ireland’s most talented and important emerging songwriters. A performer with an ability to make any setting feel intimate, I Have a Tribe will bring his captivating show to the Body & Soul Stage this weekend.

MAUD IN CAHOOTS – Earthship Stage on Sunday, August 31st (8pm)
A duo whose ability to create a defined alternative-pop sound Maud In Cahoots are just as engaging live as they are in their studio work.

JERRY FISH – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow on Sunday, August 31st (Midnight)
A performer made for Electric Picnic, Jerry Fish embodies the spirit, joyous atmosphere and creativity that the festival stands for. An undeniably charismatic showman, and ringmaster of the Electric Sideshow.
