Body & Soul 2015 returns to Ballinlough Castle, County Westmeath this Friday June 19th to Sunday 21st. With an incredible array of artists, stages & events all at this year’s festival TLMT has chosen its 20 must see acts performing this weekend.

Soak – Body & Soul main stage, Sunday: 3pm
Following the recent release of her seminal debut album Before We Forgot How To Dream SOAK will play Body & Soul 2015 this Sunday.
Cut Once – Pagoda Stage, Saturday: 11pm
Electronic duo Cut Once made a massive impression on festival goers at last month’s Canalaphonic festival, and will be sure to do so again at the Pagoda Stage this weekend.
Blooms – Bulmers Lounge, Sunday: 8pm
Blooms’ transition to the festival stage at Forbidden Fruit last month proved to be the natural step for the London-based artist. The intimate surrounds of Body & Soul 2015 could very well provide the perfect setting for the songwriter’s ethereal electronic sound.
Slow Skies – Wonderlust Stage, Friday: 10pm
Alternative-pop act Slow Skies play the Wonderlust stage. The group’s brilliant E.P. Keepsake was a highlight of last year and their live sound is just as effecting.
Cloud Castle Lake – Body & Soul main stage, Saturday: 2.30pm
Cloud Castle Lake are a band with a live sound that more than matches the deeply set, harmonically dense production of their debut E.P Dandelion making them the perfect fit for this year’s Body & Soul festival.
Meltybrains? – Body & Soul main stage, Saturday: 1.30pm
Always a full-on feast for the senses Meltybrains? takeover the Body & Soul stage this Saturday. A simply unmissable live set.
King Kong Company – Chai Wallahs, Saturday: 1am
Festival mainstays at this point, King Kong Company’s tour de force live performances have garnered them a reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting and unique live acts.
Sleep Thieves – Tree Haus, Friday: 2am
Sleep Thieves take to the Tree Haus stage at this year’s Body & Soul. The trio’s most recent album You Want the Night was TLMT’s stand-out album for 2014, and their live performances are just as atmospherically set and captivating.
Bantum – Tree Haus, Saturday: 2am
Electronic artist Bantum will be debuting new material at this year’s Body & Soul, and given the tonally synced sound and broad production his part work (including the debut album Legion) it will be interesting to hear what he has in-store this weekend at the Tree Haus stage.
Carriages – Tree Haus, Friday: 11pm
Carriages make their Body & Soul debut at Homebeat’s Tree Haus stage this weekend. The duo’s electroinc-folk sound will find a fitting home within the scenic surrounds of Ballinlough Woods.
I Have A Tribe – Tree Haus, Sunday: 9pm
The ever brilliant I Have A Tribe plays this year’s Body & Soul. His Yellow Raincoats E.P. (released last year) was an exciting introduction to one of our best songwriters.
Buffalo Woman – Tree Haus, Friday: Midnight
Buffalo Woman made their presence felt on the Irish music scene this year with the singles ‘U Make Me High’ and ‘More Than God’, and will now continue to do so at Body & Soul 2015.
Little Xs For Eyes – Tree Haus, Saturday: 7pm
After releasing one of the albums of the years so far (and singles with ‘Logical Love’) Little Xs For Eyes will bring their indie-pop brilliance to the Tree Haus stage at Body & Soul.
i am niamh – Wonderlust Stage, Friday: 9pm
i am niamh’s debut album Wonderland was an intriguing introduction to the songwriter’s alternative-pop sound. A performer with an equally enchanting live show, i am niamh’s set within the woods of Ballinlough Castle could prove to be a festival highlight.
Hilary Woods – Tree Haus, Sunday: 5pm
Hilary Woods’ recent E.P. Night and subsequent live shows at Smock Alley last year were both stand-out moments of 2014, the songwriter returns to the live scene this weekend at the Tree Haus Stage.
Fierce Mild – Bulmers Lounge, Saturday: 10.45pm
Riot grrrl influenced act Fierce Mild bringing their abrasive, upfront punk sound to this year’s Body & Soul, providing a different .
Lyttet – Tree Haus, Friday: 8pm
Lyttet recently released their E.P. Intium::Finis, and will be bringing their lush electronic touched with dream-pop sound to Body & Soul 2015.
Plutonic Dust – Pagoda Stage, Saturday: Midnight
An enrapturing mix of funk and electronic music Plutonic Dust are earning a name for themselves as a live act that make an impact fast and effectively.
Participant – Tree Haus, Friday: 6pm
An artist with a multi-textured approach to his sound (see his debut E.P. Bit Slow) Participant (a.k.a Stephen Tiernan) plays the Tree Haus Stage at Body & Soul 2015.
Katie Kim – Wonderlust Stage, Saturday: 10.15pm
Simply Ireland’s most important songwriters Katie Kim is a must see musical experience in any context. Make it your business to go.
