Dublin indie-rock outfit Gangs have announced their much-anticipated début E.P which will be released via Irish independent label Reekus Records.

The group, who continue to capture the Irish music scene’s attention with their raucous live performances, have today confirmed they will release their first E.P through the Irish record label.

Reekus Records owner and founder Elvera Butler commented on the Dublin four-piece stating “I am delighted to announce that Reekus will be working with GANGS for their début E.P. These four teenagers are extremely talented and will no doubt make big waves both here and abroad when this E.P comes out. Without a single release they have been selling out venues around Dublin which is testament to their infectious music.”

Gangs’ début release will be produced by Brian Foley of iconic 80’s group the Blades. Speaking about working with the Irish-indie legend, front-man Jordan Curtis said “We’re delighted to be working with Brian (Foley), he’s a hero of ours so we’re really excited about working with him. The Blades played a big part in our development as a band and we really look up to them.”

Gangs’ visceral blend of indie and rock ‘n’ roll elements has outlined the group as one of Ireland’s most exciting and promising prospects. The announcement of the band’s forthcoming E.P will be sure to build on their already incredible momentum.
