From Kneecap releasing the seminal Fine Art and taking on the Tories, Fontaines D.C. undergoing the sonic sea change with Romance, Irish acts boycotting SXSW 2024 in solidarity with the people of Palestine, and the Mary Wallopers protesting against the far-right in Dundalk, this year Irish musicians have helped shape the culture at home and abroad.
