The Altered Hours – Castle Stage: Friday 7.15pm
Raucous alternative-rock act the Altered Hours continue to tour their stellar debut album In Heat Not Sorry with a set at the Castle stage this Friday night.
Lynched – Original Penguin Stage: Friday 7.30pm
Traditional outfit Lynched have garnered considerable critical acclaim of late. The band’s music is an alternative take on the folk/trad genre that makes them powerful to experience live.
Nanu Nanu – Castle Stage: Saturday 1.45pm
Castlepalooza 2016 sees the return of Alien-pop Nanu Nanu. A visceral electronic fused act with a live show as captivating as their sound.
Overhead, The Albatross – Castle Stage: Saturday 5.30pm
Learning to Growl was every inch the record Overhead, the Albatross fans had been wanting from the band. Big, bold and ambitious the group’s music is all the more engrossing when seen live.
Lisa O’Neill – Original Penguin Stage: Saturday 7pm
One of Ireland’s most instantly recognizable voices. Don’t miss the brilliant Lisa O’Neill.
Hare Squead – Castle Stage: Saturday 8.30pm
Fast becoming one of Ireland’s most talked about new band Hare Squead take their own hip-hop stylings to the main stage at Castlepalooza 2016 this weekend.
No Monster Club – Centre Stage: Sunday 2pm
The mad scientist of Irish indie-pop Bobby Aherne will bring No Monster Club to Charleville Castle for what could very well be a show stealing set
Orchid Collective – Castle Stage: Sunday 3pm
Very promising new act on the scene, Orchid Collective are a band to watch out for in the coming months. Cathc them live on Sunday at Castlepalooza.
Somerville – Original Penguin Stage: Sunday 6pm
A songwriter with a beguiling sound Somerville is an artist perfectly set for the intimate surrounds and vibe of Castlepalooza.
Cat Power – Castle Stage: Sunday 8.30pm
Cat Power. There’s no excuse not to see her.
