CXCW 2016 | Miriam Donohue performs ‘Morrigan’

Miriam Donohue

The Last Mixed Tape is proud to bring readers the exclusive first stream of this year’s CXCW performances, starting with singer-songwriter Miriam Donohue.

Taken from Miriam Donohue’s upcoming debut album Paper Trails, ‘Morrigan’ is a gentle folk song wrapped in Donohue’s lyrical expressionism and beguiling vocal.

Filmed as part of this year’s Irish CXCW (Couch by Couchwest) showcase, Miriam Donohue’s beautifully set performance is an intimate portrait of both artist and concept.

Devised as a festival alternative to this year’s SXSW, the Irish CXCW 2016 series will feature performance from an eclectic line-up of artists. Stay tuned to TLMT for more video during the week.

Miriam Donohue’s Paper Trails L.P. is due out later this year with a album launch in Dublin & Galway (with full band) coming this summer. Donohue will also embark on a short tour of Germay and Switzerland this spring.
