Electric Picnic 2015, possibly the most anticipated and biggest music festival of the summer, will descend upon Stradbally in County Laois this weekend (Friday, September 4th to Sunday, September 6th).

Chvrches – Electric Arena: Saturday @ 9pm
Recent glimpses into Chvrches second album Every Open Eye have been absolutely breath-taking, and with the synth-pop trio gearing up for its release next month their live set at Electric Picnic will be filled with all electronic brilliance seen in their current single ‘Leave a Trace’ and more.

Florence + the Machine – Main Stage: Sunday @ 10.30pm 
The comeback of Florence + the Machine this year has seen both critical acclaim and a definite change in tone. With this rejuvenation now feeding into the group’s live shows, Florence Welch & Co will enchant the Electric Picnic crowd.

Future Islands – Main Stage: Saturday @ 5.15pm
A group who captured the world’s imagination with their emotionally driven live performances, Future Island look set to captivate Irish audiences once again this weekend.

Shamir – Body & Soul: Saturday @ 3am 
Las Vegas based artist Shamir’s atmospheric electronic-disco sound is perfectly set to provide a stunning festival experience for those at Body & Soul’s Electric Picnic stage.

Parquet Courts – Cosby stage: Saturday @ 9.30pm
Spiky punk-rock act Parquet Courts are as energetic and aggressive as any band on the Electric Picnic 2015 line-up, making them one of the must see acts at Electric Picnic.

Alvvays – Cosby Stage: Saturday @ 3.45pm
Canadian indie-pop band Alvvays bring the summer-soaked sounds and infectious hooks of their brilliant self-titled debut to Electric Picnic 2015.

The War On Drugs – Electric Arena: Saturday @ 7.15pm
The War on Drugs’ seminal Lost In The Dream album was the sound of the American group finding their sound. With such anthemic tracks to call upon, their Electric Picnic show will be a big one.

Manic Street Preachers – Main Stage: Sunday @ 8.45pm
The workhorse like Manic Street Preachers have a career filled with stand-out albums. The alternative-rock pioneers will grace the main stage at this year’s Electric Picnic.

Blur – Main Stage: Saturday @ 11.3opm
The return of Blur has seen a return to form from the Brit-pop group with their Magic Whip comeback album. With a wealth of classic tracks to draw from Blur’s Electric Picnic headliner is set to be a memorable one.

Grace Jones – Main Stage: Friday @ 8.45pm 
A legend in music and performance terms, plain and simple. Grace Jones’ performance at Electric Picnic is not to be missed.

East India Youth – Other Voices: Sunday @ 10.45pm 
East India Youth’s set at intimate surrounds of the Other Voices stage this weekend is tailor-made for a great Electric Picnic moment in the making.

Villagers – Electric Arena: Sunday @ 7.15pm 
There’s little to add in regards to the subtle genius of Villagers. With Darling Arithmetic proving to be Conor O’Brien’s best work to date, the songwriter’s Electric Picnic set will be a must.

Young Wonder – Body & Soul: Sunday @ 10.15pm 
Young Wonder’s debut L.P. Birth proved to be a landmark release in Irish electronic music, the group have provided festival stealing moments at prior Electric Picnics, 2015 will be no different.

SOAK – Rankin Woods: Saturday @ 4.45pm
A truly brilliant songwriter SOAK will bring her emotionally charged music to the main stage at Electric Picnic 2015.

Ham Sandwich – Other Voices: Friday @ 10.30pm 
Ham Sandwich delivered on all their previous promise with the brilliant Stories From The Surface earlier this year. The group continue to tour the record with a show at the Other Voices stage.

Cathy Davey – My Lovely Ranch: TBC 
Acclaimed songwriter Cathy Davey makes her Electric Picnic 2015 appearance with a set at the My Lovely Ranch stage.

R.S.A.G – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow: Saturday @ 9pm 
The rhythmically rolling musical might that is R.S.A.G is one of many must see acts performing at Jerry Fish Sideshow stage at Stradbally this weekend.

O Emperor – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow: Sunday @ 9pm  
O Emperor’s recent E.P. Lizard showcased the ever-changing sound of the Waterford band. Their live show is big, loud and a must see.

Fight Like Apes – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow: Saturday @ 10pm 
Fight Like Apes will also be taking part in the Jerry Fish Sideshow stage festivities this weekend, a perfect match of act and venue.

Wyvern Lingo – Electric Arena: Sunday @ 1.45pm 
Wyvern Lingo’s ascendance as one Ireland’s most hotly tipped acts continues as the alternative-folk three-piece play Electric Picnic’s main stage.

Naoise Roo – My Lovely Ranch
Lilith made for a compelling introduction to alternative-rock artist Naoise Roo, her upcoming Electric Picnic performance could be very special indeed.

Everything Shook – Body & Soul: Saturday @ 8.40pm  
Wonderfully abrasive punk influenced electronic makers Everything Shook are an exciting prospect for Body & Soul’s 2015 line-up.

Meltybrains? – Body & Soul: Saturday @ 9.45pm 
One of the most unique groups performing at Electric Picnic 2015, Meltybrains? are an essential addition to anyone’s festival guide.

Chanele McGuinness – My Lovely Ranch: Saturday @ 2pm 
An enchanting and beguiling new songwriting talent, Chanele McGuinness is an artist on the cusp of great things. A must see.

Buffalo Woman – Body & Soul: Sunday @ 9pm 
Electronic tour de force Buffalo Woman will once again seek to steal the show with their set on the Body & Soul stage.

I’m Your Vinyl – Body & Soul: Saturday @ 6.15pm  
‘Erase It’ from I’m Your Vinyl has been one of the catchiest indie-pop tracks of 2015 but I’m Your Vinyl are even more captivating live, be sure to catch the group play Body & Soul’s stage.

The Urges – Salty Dog: Sunday @ 6.15pm   
Yet another sign of the widening scope of Electric Picnic’s line-up, psychedelic-rock powerhouse the Urges will play the Salty Dog stage.

Cronin – Salty Dog: Saturday @ 5.50pm 
Big, bold and ambitious alternative-pop at it’s best, there will be few acts performing at Stradbally this weekend who can match Cronin’s style and character in sound.

Maud In Cahoots – Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow: Sunday @ 5pm 
Maud In Cahoots continue to grow and change as a group, recent live shows have seen the band really hit their stride. Electric Picnic 2015 might prove to be the culmination of everything up to now.

Columbia Mills – Salty Dog: Friday @ 1.15am 
Indietronica act Columbia Mills are a awe-inspiring live experience in any context. Their late-night set at the Salty Dog stage could very well be a festival highlight.

Bitch Falcon – Body & Soul: Saturday @ 5pm 
Bitch Falcon have made quiet the impact on the Irish music scene this year, their set at Electric Picnic will be sure to be just as attention grabbing.

Carriages – Oxjam: Sunday @ Midnight 
Carriages never fail to deliver went it comes to both live and studio work. The duo’s merging of electronic and folk music is always a captivating experience when performed.

Fierce Mild – Oxjam: Sunday @ 11pm

Girl Band – Cosby Stage: Sunday @ 9.30pm
Without doubt one of the bands of the moment. Girl Band have captured the imagination of the global independent music scene, their set at Electric Picnic 2015 will see them continue this momentum.

The Hard Ground – Body & Soul: Saturday @ 7.30pm 
Following a busy season of E.P’s and album releases the Hard Ground feature as part of Body & Soul’s stellar line-up.

Buffalo Sunn – Salty Dog: Friday @ 6.10pm 
Indie-rock with a hint of folk and alt. country, Buffalo Sunn bring their eclectic sound to the Salty Dog stage.
