Knockanstockan 2015 descends on Blessington Lakes this weekend (Friday, July 24th to Saturday, July 25th) with a huge line-up of acts set to perform over the two days. Here’s the Last Mixed Tape’s 20 Must See Acts at this year’s festival.

The Witch Trials – Friday: Faerie Field @ 4pm
Promising psych-rock act the Witch Trials play Knockanstockan, their recent ‘Wonderland’ single has been a stand-out.
The Wood Burning Savages – Friday: Faerie Field @ 5pm
Powerful alternative-rock band the Wood Burning Savages are set for this Friday evening at the Faerie Field this Friday.
The Urges – Friday: The Burrow @ 6pm
The Urges will appear at this year’s Knockanstockan, the group’s new single ‘Passing Us By’ and subsequent live shows make for an impactful psych-rock experience.
Loah – Friday: Faerie Field @ 8pm
Very much one of the must see artists of the year so far. Loah has been garnering a considerable following with recent live shows.
Travis Oaks – Friday: Circus Tent @ 9pm
Visceral and unpredictable rock ‘n’ roll outfit Travis Oaks play the Circus Tent. Potential show stealers at Knockanstockan 2015.
Overhead, the Albatross – Friday: The Burrow @ 9pm
Purveyors of post-rock brilliance Overhead, the Albatross will bring their unique live show to the Burrow on Friday night.
Bitch Falcon – Friday: The Burrow @ 10pm
Full-forced post-grunge act Bitch Falcon have made their presence felt on 2015 already. Their set at this year’s Knockanstockan will be no different.
Fierce Mild – Saturday: Circus Tent @ 12pm
Garage-rock band Fierce Mild continue to tour their attention grabbing debut E.P. Yes N Yes N Yes with an appearance at Knockanstockan 2015.
Rocstrong – Saturday: The Burrow @ 1.30pm
Roctrong’s highly impressive performance at this year’s Forbidden Fruit made for the quintessential festival experience. he’ll be sure to deliver again this Saturday.
Rebecca Collins – Saturday: Faerie Field @ 2pm
Alternative-rock artist Rebecca Collins provided one of the album highlights of 2014 with her record, Solar. A great addition to the Knockanstockan 2015 line-up.
Sinéad White – Saturday: Faerie Field @ 3pm
Sinéad White’s debut L.P. Finally has been met with critical acclaim upon its release and found the songwriter delivering on all the promise from previous live appearances. White will continue this momentum at the Faerie Field this Saturday.
Pockets – Saturday: Circus Tent @ 6pm
Winners of TLMT Reader’s E.P. of the Year 2014 with Raison d’être Pockets play the Circus Tent this Saturday evening.
Gavin Glass & the New Shakers – Saturday: The Burrow @ 6.30pm
Gavin Glass brings his americana tinged sound to the Burrow on Saturday. The songwriter’s latest album Sunday Songs has been one of the stand-out of 2015 so far.
Twin Headed Wolf – Saturday: Faerie Field @ 7pm
Atmospherically set dark-folk duo Twin Headed Wolf bring their incredibly unique music to Blessington Lake this weekend.
Otherkin – Saturday: The Burrow @ 7.30pm
Hot on the heels of an incredibly effective set at this year’s Longitude, Otherkin continue their run of festival appearances this Saturday night at Knockanstockan 2015.
Rusangano Family – Saturday: Faerie Field @ 9pm
One of Ireland’s most important musical acts right now, Rusangano Family play Knockanstockan’s Faerie Field stage on Saturday night. A must see.
Elastic Sleep – Friday: Circus Tent @ 11pm
Dream-pop aficionados Elastic Sleep bring their always stunning live show to the Circus tent, an experience in and of itself.
O Emperor – Saturday: The Burrow @ 9.30pm
O Emperor’s stunning Lizard E.P. was a very welcome return from the Waterford band. With a live sound to match their studio work the group’s set at the Burrow stage will be a must.
The Eskies – Saturday: The Burrow @ 10.30pm
A band absolutely made for Knockanstockan, the Eskies takeover the festival’s Burrow stage this Saturday night.
Leo Drezden – Saturday: Circus Tent @ Midnight
Post-rock melting pot Leo Drezden bring Knockanstockan’s Circus tent to a close on Saturday. A perfect way to end this year’s festival.
