Brand new synth-pop artist Ódú has unveiled her first track ‘Different’ today, taken from the artist’s debut E.P. Conversations.

Infused with a deep-seated tropical-pop sound, the music of ‘Different’ is a vivid and vibrant one. Patient, yet constantly moving, the song’s infectious sense of rhythm pushes the track forward.

Coupled with Ódú magpie like ability to gather indie, electro and synth-pop elements and blend them into one big ambitious sound, ‘Different’ is an ear-catching debut track from a promising new act.

Sonically satisfying, slightly rough around the edges and inventive Ódú’s sound is full of prospect. And while this is only a glimpse into her debut record, there is enough tropical-pop verve in ‘Different’ to make a lasting impression.
