5 must see music events at Culture Night 2014 in Dublin

Culture Night 2014 takes place across the country this Friday, September 19th. With a myriad of talks, tours, music, film, spoken-word and theatre happening around the capital here’s the Last Mixed Tape’s 5 music see music events in Dublin. 

Kate’s Party at the Outhouse LGBT coumminuty resource centre (7.30pm)
Punk-pop act and the Last Mixed Tape regulars Kate’s Party will perform live at the Outhouse LGBT community resource centre. The group are fresh from a tour of the UK in support of their brilliant début Hollow.

Moxie, Miss Kate, Film screenings & Silent Disco at Tower Records (5pm)
Tower Records on Dawson street will have an array of events on in-store for Culture Night 2014 including sets from Moxie and Miss Kate. A silent disco will also take place, while screenings of Lou Reed’s Berlin and the Oscar winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom.

Tours & live music from Relish at Windmill Lane Recording Studios (5pm)
Esteemed recording studios Windmill Lane will open it’s doors for Culture Night, with tours of the facilities and two live performances from indie-pop act Relish (8pm & 10pm).

Chequerboard & Luke Scott at the Pavilion theatre, Dun Laoghaire (8.45pm)
The Pavilion theatre in Dun Laoghaire will see a pair of performances from electro-acoustic artist Chequerboard and Dublin composer Luke Scott.

I Have A Tribe, The Taquin Experiments, Claire Duff & Aoife Nic Athlaoich at the Sugar Club (8pm)
Hosted by Music Network, the Sugar Club will see an exciting trio of acts perform featuring Claire Duff & Aoife Nic Athlaoich, The Taquin Experiments and the evr-brilliant I Have A Tribe.
