Scottish alternative-rock pioneers the Jesus and Mary Chain have been confirmed to play Vicar Street, Dublin on Thursday, July 31st.
The band is currently rehearsing for their upcoming Psychocandy UK dates. Following the Jesus and Mary Chain’s recent tour of South America, the group are set to embark on a run of shows performing their seminal 1985 début in full.
A landmark album not only in the Jesus and Mary Chain’s career but also in alternative-rock itself, Psychocandy showcases the band’s visceral noise-pop sound. Becoming majorly influential on many new artists and genres over the years, the record includes several of their most recognized tracks including ‘Just Like Honey’ and ‘Never Understand’.
Tickets to see the Jesus and Mary Chain play Vicar Street in Dublin on July 31st are priced at €30 and are on sale now via ticketmaster.ie.
