Soda Blonde will be headed to Other Voices 2019 later this month to play the Dingle Gin Music TrailAhead of the group’s set at the intimate music festival in Kerry, they spoke to TLMT about what they’re listening to, the Other Voices experience and the band’s 2019 highlights.

What is influencing your music right now?
Enjoying the little things/challenges. And a D.I.Y mentality. As a group we all really love Prince’s album that came out recently, “Piano and a Microphone, 1983”.

What do you think makes Other Voices such a special gig for artists to play?
It’s always so well curated and such a joy to be apart of.

What other acts would you most recommend people see from the Other Voices?
Fehdah, Brien, Gypsies On The Autobahn, SOAK, Whitney

With 2019 coming at an end. What has been the highlight of your year?
Our first headline show. selling out in the Grand Social was really special for us.
