Gypsies On The Autobahn are Dingle bound next month as the group head to Other Voices 2019. Ahead of the band’s set at the intimate music festival in Kerry, they spoke to TLMT about what they are listening to, what’s inspiring them and their 2019 highlights.
What’s the last song you listened to on Spotify?
No I in Threesome – Interpol
What’s the last record you bought?
Junior Brother, Pull The Right Rope.
What is influencing your music right now?
We have been focusing a lot on the visual side of our work for the last few months; so watching the likes of Bob Gallagher and Kojaque put out incredible videos has been a big influence for us.
What do you think makes Other Voices such a special gig for artists to play?
The atmosphere and the location is like nothing we’ve ever experienced. There’s something seriously magical about Dingle and the Other Voices crew have crafted something special there.
What other acts would you most recommend people see at Other Voices 2019?
Soda Blonde, Brien, Fehdah, Uppbeat and The Scratch to name a few.
With 2019 coming at an end. What has been the highlight of your year?Putting our album our for the world to hear was probably the highlight for us. After working for so long and putting so much into it it’s a great feeling to show people what we created.
