The much-anticipated return of Girl Band has come to pass with a new single ‘Shoulderblades’ and an upcoming Vicar Street headliner.
Taken from Girl Band’s forthcoming sophomore studio album The Talkies (due out via Rough Trade on September 27th), ‘Shoulderblades’ finds the group doing what they do best, contorting and twisting noise into a glorious cacophony of tense guitars, imposing drum beats and raw unstrained vocals. Resulting in comeback worth every minute of the wait. Check out the music video directed by Bob Gallagher below.
Alongside the release of ‘Shoulderblades’, Girl Band has also confirmed a headline show in Vicar Street, Dublin on November 22nd as part of an upcoming Uk & European tour.
