In this edition of The Last Mixed Tape’s song-of-the-week feature The Mixed-Tape, we turn our attention to ‘You Never Saw Me Dance’ by Peachface.
A sublime slice of lush indie-pop, the hazy aesthetic of Peachface’s music is brought to the fore on the group’s debut single, the harmony-laden ‘You Never Saw Me Dance’.
Part retro synth-pop, part power pop, ‘Yoy Never Saw Me Dance’ showcases the pin-point pop sensibilities of Peachface through catchy hooks, serene melody and glistening production. All of which culminates in a striking first outing for the band.
Peachface will celebrate the release of ‘You Never Saw Me Dance’
gig in Bello Bar on 11th January with support from Dott and Darragh McCabe.
