Pillow Queens have unveiled their latest music video for ‘Gay Girls’, directed by Kate Dolan.
Conveying a sense of joy, escapism and freedom in equal measure the music video that accompanies ‘Gay Girls’ also captures the very energy and intent that went behind Pillow Queens latest single. So much so, that it almost the perfect mirror as to why the group have taken a prominent spot at the forefront of Irish music.
Indeed, the merging of themes between the music and visuals makes for a strong combination. Juxtaposing the problems that underline Ireland today but also a sense of hope and yearning to be completely free of those shackles. It is these aspirations that make Pillow Queens so relevant.
