The Last Mixed Tape reviews Everything Is Love, the brand new studio collaborative album from Beyoncé and Jay-Z (the Carters).
Rounding off the Carters “marriage trilogy” which started with Beyoncé’s Lemonade and continued with Jay-Z’s 4:44, Everything Is Love finds the couple expelling the tension of the past with a reconciliation record featuring the stand out tracks ‘APESHIT’, ‘Love Happy’ and ‘713’.
Albums can often be cathartic experiences for both the artist and the listener but rarely do we see both sides of the story on one record. Beyonce and Jay-Z reaffirmation of their relationship Everything Is Love does just that.
