Electro-pop artist Laosie has just dropped her latest single, the serene dreamlike ‘Bother’.
Traversing a multitude of genre flourishes and sounds, Laoise particular melting pop of electronic music is a captivating one indeed. And her latest single, ‘Bother’, is the artist’s most pop-infused offering to date.
Laoise’s vocal takes centre stage, as well as forming part of the background with layered harmonies, while the pop and click synth beats of the song’s production provide the perfect world for the Irish electro-pop artist’s songwriting to occupy.
Add to this the sudden spikes of brass synths and hypnotic vocal lines, and you have single that undulates by pushing and pulling the verse/chorus dynamic. Making ‘Bother’ a truly gratifying experience.
