Electro-soul outfit Akora have unveiled a special live performance of their track ‘Blakey’.

Filmed and recorded live at the Meadow Studios, the one-shot take of Akora performing ‘Blakey’ is a powerful taster of group’s weighty live sound, most recently seen at their sold-out headliner in the Workman’s Club last Thursday night.

Melding neo-soul, electro-pop, jazz and R&B all within one big melting pot of lush melody and hefty rhythm Akora’s music is one of many shades and textures. With such a big live sound it will be interesting to hear what the group has in store when it comes to their studio output.

Akora will open for Overhead, the Albatross at the Workman’s Club on December 28th. For more information visit theworkmansclub.com.
