Alternative-pop songwriter Molly Sterling impresses with brand new single ‘Plain Static’.
A deep reverb and woven tumult characterize Molly Sterling’s latest single ‘Plain Static’. Coupled with the soft alternative-rock flourishes found within the guitar and Sterling’s own vocal acrobatics, the single has an almost Jeff Buckely-esque quality to the sound and drama found within.
‘Plain Static’ is an incredibly promising offering from Molly Sterling. Although Sterling is only beginning her career, the song has a maturity to it far beyond this early stage of the artist’s development and establishes the songwriter as a definite one to watch. One can only hope this direction is further explored in future, but for now ‘Plain Static’ is a sure sign of things to come.
