Alternative-pop artist Roisin El Cherif has unveiled her own take on Bon Iver’s ‘8 (Circle)’.
Taken from Bon Iver’s seminal third studio album 22, A Million, which came out to widespread critical acclaim last year, Roisin El Cherif’s earthy adaptation of ‘8 (Circle)’ weaves a more haunting traditional atmosphere around the song.
Shot in Baltinglass in Wicklow, and directed by El Cherif, the accompanying visuals add to this very organic take on Iver’s music with Roisin putting enough of herself into the cover to come up with something new.
