Pop culture series Culture Vultures has been announced as part of this year’s AKA (Alternative Kilkenny Arts) fringe festival.
The salon themed pop culture event, co-curated by promoter/event organiser Andrea Keogh and Irish Times journalist Tony Clayton-Lea (host), will feature as part of AKA Fringe Festival 2017 at Set Theatre, Kilkenny on Friday, 11 August.
The show itself will feature a live set from alternative-pop outfit Little Green Cars, a spoken word performance from the band’s Stevie Appleby and a public interview with Cartoon Saloon’s co-founder and Creative Director Tomm Moore.
The Alternative Kilkenny Arts Fringe Festival will take place from 03 – 20th August in various venues, cafes, theatres & outdoor spaces in Kilkenny City. For more on the festival visit their Facebook page – here.
