Emma Lou & the Agenda will play the Workman’s Club in Dublin this Friday, April 28th to celebrate the release of the single, ‘Love You Can Trust’. Emma took a few moments recently to answer a quick Q&A from TLMT.

What is influencing you at the moment?

I listen to everyone from 60’s girl bands to Disney Princesses & I’m influenced by all of it!

What’s the last record you bought?

It actually wasn’t for me but I wish it was; a Dean Martin vinyl that I bought for my grandad for his new record player. He likes it… I think.

What song or artist do have on repeat the most at the moment?

Song: Belle from Beauty & The Beast… #notevensorry.

Tell us about how your E.P. Take Care was written?

I wrote the vocal parts for each of the songs and went to the band with them, et voila! Here we are 🙂

You’ll also embark on several live dates this summer. What’s your personal favorite track from the E.P. to play live?

Well, they’re all amazing duh, but if I had to pick, I’d probably say the song that the EP’s named after; Take Care. It is such a nice song & I think that a lot of people can relate to it. I really love singing it too so I guess that’s the one.

With the festival season almost upon. What do you have planned for the coming months?

We have our EP launch this Friday in The Workman’s Club, then some festivals over the Summer. Oh, and we’re working on a music video for the first single too! It’s called Love You Can Trust, so keep your eyes peeled!

Emma Lou & the Agenda will play the Workman’s Club on April 28th. Tickets are priced at €10, for more information visit theworkmansclub.com.
