Paul Noonan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Ollie Cole & more set play Set Theatre in aid of Chernobyl

Paul Noonan, Maria Doyle Keenedy, Ollie Cole and more are all set to play a show that marks the 31st anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

Taking place at the Set Theatre in Kilkenny on April 26th the show will feature performances from Bell X 1’s frontman Paul Noonan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Gavin Glass, Ollie Cole, and Ian Doyle (The Man Whom), and will raise funds for Adi Roche’s Chernobyl Children International.  More guest will be announced.

Adi Roche began working on Chernobyl in the immediate aftermath of the accident and founded Chernobyl Children International (CCI) in 1991. CCI develop programmes that restore hope, alleviate suffering and protect current and future generations in the Chernobyl regions. 

Programmes include summer Rest and Recuperation to Ireland, de-institutionalisation, building and reconstruction, independent living and cardiac care. 

A night for Chernobyl to mark the 31st anniversary will raise funds for Vesnova Orphanage and this summers rest and recuperation programme for Adi Roche’s Chernobyl Children’s International.
