Taken from Darling’s forthcoming self-titled album, the widescreen indie-rock of ‘Bright Light Switch’ provides an ambitious, large-scale glimpse into the duo’s new L.P.
With the push and pull between the gentler slow-motion verses and the big all-in anthemic choruses, ‘Bright Light Switch’ is song of dynamic contrast built from Darling’s own take on the indie-rock sound. How the rest of their upcoming eponymous album shapes up will be very interesting to see indeed.
