It has been announced today that BARE in the Woods 2017 will be a three-day event next summer.
Taking place from Friday, June 9th to Sunday, June 11th at Garryhinch Woods in Portarlington, BARE in the Woods 2017 will see the annual music festival change from a one-day event to three.
Peter Dunne, BARE promoter says, “The festival has doubled in size every year, so obviously we are doing something right. The main thing people have said to us is that it’s over too fast and one day is too short. So we are delighted to go to three days and even more delighted to be able to attract bigger talent for our stages in 2017. We’re looking forward to releasing the line up early in 2017.”
BARE in the Woods has also teamed up with Mobstar – the first mobile platform for global talent – to offer Irish musicians and artists a chance to play at BARE in the Woods 2017. The acts upload a video to the BARE in the Woods category through the MobStar app, which in turn are reviewed and the selected acts will then play at various BARE events throughout 2017.
Ticket info:
Early Bird Tickets are on sale now at €100 for a three-day camping ticket, before rising to €150 thereafter. Day Tickets will also be on sale for Saturday and Sunday at an Early Bird price of €40 via bare.ticketleap.com.
BARE in the Woods is located only 50 minutes from Dublin and is accessible via motorway networks to all major Irish cities in under two hours. The site is located close to Portarlington railway station and serviced by Dublin Coach, with a 24-hour service to Dublin, Limerick and Cork.
