In this edition of The Last Mixed Tape’s song-of-the-week feature The Mixed-Tape we turn our attention to Elaine Mai and their comeback single ‘Enniscrone’.
‘Enniscrone’ marks a serene return from Elaine Mai. Taken from her forthcomign E.P. The Colour of Night, the track is an intricatly woven tapestry of electronic textures and beats.
Providing a much more fully-realised and vivid production than her previous work, Elaine Mai’s latest offering is a compelling listen that allows you to drift along with the forward motion implied by the music, and indeed mirrored by Paul Mahon’s accompanying video (seen below).
