Agro-soul outfit BARQ have returned with the genre melding sound of their latest single ‘Bear’.
Following on from their previous single ‘That Thing You Love’ an furthering the twisted R&B/Soul sound that has identified BARQ as one of Ireland’s most interesting musical prospects, ‘Bear’ is a relentlessly propellant new track from the group.
Building aggressively to great collision of sound that comes in the final third of ‘Bear’, BARQ’s music continues to contort to the band’s will both dynamically and sonically. Resulting in a single that isn’t just different sounding, but purposeful.
BARQ will celebrate the release of ‘Bear’ with a show at the Bowery in Rathmines on November 17th. Support on the night will come from Soulé.
