Metropolis 2016 | Alexis Taylor & Trinity Orchestra to pay tribute to Bowie & Prince

Bowie

Alexis Taylor and the Trinity Orchestra will both pay tribute to the late great Prince and David Bowie at Metropolis 2016.

It’s mainly the actual groove – the way melodic and rhythmic patterns interlock together – that we take from him.’

And on Saturday, November 5th the Trinity Orchestra will play a set of classic David Bowie tracks at this year’s winter festival.

Metrpolis 2016 will take place at the RDS in Dublin from Thursday, November 3rd to Saturday, November 5th across 8 stages and will include live sets from acts like Groove Armada (DJ Set) | Grace Jones | Girl Band | Crystal Castles | New Jackson | Clams Casino | Novelist | Mall Grab | Floating Points (3hr DJ Set) | Klangkarussell | Shura | Jack Garratt | Paul Kalkbrenner | Mount Kimbie (opening party) | Cyril Hahn and more.
