Donegal-based ambient-folk trio For Foresters have unveiled the brand new live video for ‘Bath’.
Well here’s a very interesting new prospect indeed! For Foresters first offering is a sonically sophisticated slice of indie-folk that strides from early Bon Iver based atmospherics, to Tallest Man On Earth styled emotive pay-off to an almost Roxy Music-esque saxophone driven close, all in the space of six minutes.
What is more, the track never skips a beat in terms of songwriting. For Foresters find a way for all these influences to mix into a new and exciting sound bathed in reverb and given life by great melody, harmony and rhythm.
‘Bath’ is a compelling first introduction to For Foresters, and it seems the trio’s wild-hearted folk sound will not stay a secret for very long.
