A striking departure from the indie-folk of Joey Gavin’s Circles E.P, ‘Run’ is a jolting slice of refreshing indie-pop filled with jangle and melody.
Taking such a sonic sea-change in his stride Joey Gavin’s new sound on ‘Run’ is very exciting indeed, and showcase a young artist not willing to be tied down to any particular scene or style.
This can only bode well for the songwriter’s future as it makes Gavin stand out as a welcome and unpredictable entity on the Irish music scene.
