Playlist | Meltybrains? Knockanstockan Mixed-Tape

Meltybrains?

In the build-up to Knockanstockan 2016 TLMT has asked acts from this year’s line-up to choose their own festival mixed-tape, and tell us about what they’re looking forward seeing at Blessington in July.

This time it’s the turn of Meltybrains? Read below to see what they had to say and check out who the group have chosen for their Knockanstockan playlist. Meltybrains? play the Burrow Stage on Sunday at 10.30pm. Photo credit: Eve North.

We here at Meltybrains? know how to listen to music. We’d like to give you a few tips. First you put on your shoes, of course. After that, you find your grandfathers watch. This is very important. We love watches. And we love watching. So watches and shoes go hand in hand, hand in foot, foot in mouth.

Meltybrains? cannot wait to play at Knockanstockan. We were born to play. Literally. LITERALLY. In play-school, we really got behind the ‘play’ aspect, although we never had much time for the ‘school’ side. Playing is what makes children great. Adults can really learn a lot from children’s grasp of the importance of playing. Perhaps it is adults who should be attending play-school, while kids run the banks and fly the airplanes.

Make sure to remember. Never forget that. Then follow our guidelines…. and our fishing lines. Music doesn’t need to be described, it needs to be listened to. That’s what it is designed for. Just like a good watch. If its good enough, you listen to it. You don’t have to describe it. Listening to my watch reminds me, I’m late…..

Here is our playlist.

1. Search Party Animal – To An End
2. Come On Live Long – Billions
3. Wastefellow – Someone Else/Mazedtheme
4. Vameel – Marrow
5. Toby Kaar – Fowl
6. Tongue Bundle – Horsemeat Scandal
7. The Viper – 2012 Olympic Sailing
8. Myles Manley – Pay Me What I’m Worth
9. Feather – Like No Other
