Canalaphonic 2016 | Several new acts added

Several new acts have been added to the Canalaphonic 2016 line-up today including Maud In Cahoots and Sample Answer. 

The latest artists to join the Canalaphonic 2016 line-up are: Sample Answer, Mick Pyro, Maud in Cahoots, Gavin Glass, Nick Kelly, The Sour Seeds, Flecks, CC Brez, Aine Cahill, New Valley Wolves, Fox Jaw and Youth Mass.

Acts already announced for Canalaphonic music & culture festival this year include Rocstrong, The Eskies, Zaska, Mongrel State, Barq, Mongoose, White_Mice, The Word Up Collective, Mother Mooch, Late City Edition, Fox E and the Good Hands, Travis Oaks and T/A/S/T/E.

The FREE music festival has also announced Radio Nova as its media partner. For the whole month of September, Radio NOVA will highlight acts playing at this year’s festival in addition to a NOVA Takeover of the main indoor stage at Whelan’s, live outdoor broadcasts and NOVA DJs performing MC duties throughout the festival proper.

Canalaphonic will take place from September 23rd to September 24th in venues across Rathmines, Portobello, National Concert Hall Quarter and Camden Quarter as well as the main outdoor stage located at Leinster Cricket Grounds, Rathmines.

The festival is the result of an ongoing collaboration between Dublin City Council’s South East Area Office and Abner Browns Barbershop, supported by Fáilte Ireland, Clancourt Group, Waterways Ireland, Dublin City Council Arts Office, IMRO, Heineken, McGarrell Reilly Group and Rohan Holdings.
