A soft-spoken single, ‘Sea Salt’ lives and dies on the lyrical turns of phrase (I’m detox, you’re just toxic”) that songwriter Rosa Nutty wraps around her harmony driven barque-pop inflected music.
Add to this Nutty’s own gently tip-toeing vocal style and ‘Sea Salt’ is a song that delivers the intertwining nature of love and how this can lead to heartbreak in way that is perfectly subtle.
