The Last Mixed Tape is proud to premiere the music video for Jackal’s barque-pop tinged new single ‘Groundhog Day’.

A sing that certainly swings for the fences in terms of its conceptual and thematic delivery, Jackal highlights himself as a performer who embodies his music with ‘Groundhog Day’.

Through flourishes of barque-pop, swing and jazzy undertones the sound of ‘Groundhog Day’ is hard to pin down into on genre category.

Made all more engaging by the upfront theatricality of the piece, playful piano lines and full-on choruses, Jackal has identified himself as an artist content on making the music he wants to make and that’s something to be excited about.
