Mothers new single ‘Copper Mine’is the latest song to be added to the Last Mixed Tape’s new international playlist Press Play

The hypnotizing indie malaise of Mothers latest track ‘Copper Mines’ certainly marks the Athens, Georgia-based band as ones to watch coming into 2016.

Centered around Kristine Leschper’s soft yet ominous voice, Mothers sound shudders out of the speakers with alternative-rock jolts and introverted spaces of waiting repose.

‘Copper Mines’ is the type of song that creeps up on you, and slowly but surely grabs your entire attention with its sonic twists and turns, until finally your wrapped up in it.

Taken from Mothers forthcoming debut album When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired (due for release on February 26th via Grand Jury Music (US)/Wichita Recordings (UK)), ‘Cooper Mines’ is subtly addictive introduction to its parent record.
