In the latest edition of T.L.M.T’s song of the week feature The Mixed-Tape we turn our attention to Bagels and their debut single ‘To An End’.
A simply infectious debut single that makes a lasting impression, Bagels’ first outing ‘To An End’ is so self-assured it’s honestly hard to believe this is a band only finding their feet.
A song so intricately wrapped in melody and rhythm, ‘To An End’ plays with indie-pop hooks and slip-sliding percussion to such a degree you can hear the ease and command Bagels have over their sound.
‘To An End’ is a hell of a start from Bagels that places the group firmly in the “ones to watch” category for 2016.
