Mongoose and a line-up of special guests are set to come together for a night of live music and poetry in Whelan’s on November 19th.

The forthcoming intimate headline show from the jazz-folk four-piece (entitled Winter Longing) will look to “explore unrequited love and yearning in the depths of Irish winter” and will feature a host of artists also adding to the overall vibe of the night.

Set to take part in the Winter Longing line-up next month will be: the Young Folk, a solo set from New Secret Weapon’s Griff, the Eskies’ Ian Bermingham, spoken-word artist Dimitra Xidous, Juhn Echo’s Niamh Regan and poet Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin.

Tickets to Winter Longing in Whelan’s on Thursday, November 19th are priced at €12/€10 and are available now via whelanslive.com. Doors are at 8pm, for more information visit the event’s Facebook page – here
