Musicians Shelley Bukspan, Mick (Pyro) Tierney & Ray Boyle are set to come together for a special night of solo and roots material entitled Songs About Love, God & Chickens.
A collaborative night of music from Bukspan-Tierney-Boyle, this month’s show will follow the group’s recent appearances at the Blues, Roots & Brass festival in Whelan’s and the Oxjam stage at this year’s Electric Picnic.
Mike ‘Pyro’ Tierney, who is known for his work as the front-man of Republic of Loose and is currently working on his forthcoming solo album, glam-folk artist Shelley Bukspan who is also gearing up for the release of her new record the Bronx Ageand former lead guitarist/songwriter for the Ultra Montanes Ray Boyle, all comprise Bukspan-Tierney-Boyle and will be joined on stage by Jorden Bukspan on vocals, Cote Calmet on Drums and Tommy Moore on Bass.
Tickets to Bukspan-Tierney-Boyle live in Whelan’s upstairs venue on Wednesday, October 28th are priced at €5 on the night. Doors are at 8pm, with support from Basciville and Clara Byrne.
