In the latest edition of T.L.M.T’s song of the week feature The Mixed-Tape we turn our attention to Pleasure Beach and their new track ‘Dreamer to a Dawn’.
A song that just cascades with synth-pop opulence, ‘Dreamer to a Dawn’ finds Pleasure Beach reaching for the same euphoric sonic highs as War on Drugs. Resulting in an instantly riveting new single from the Belfast band.
Indeed the production of the song has such a widened scope that it would be hard to not get excited for Pleasure Beach’s forthcoming E.P. (also titled Dreamer to a Dawn).
Where can the five-piece go from here? I wonder. Time will tell, and that’s all part of the excitement but for now we have a sure-fire contender for song-of-the-year.
