In the latest edition of T.L.M.T’s song of the week feature The Mixed-Tape we turn our attention to SlowPlaceLikeHome and his latest single ‘Cesare’s Principle’.

With its sense of hushed repose, ‘Cesare’s Principle’ is a track that waits. Surrounded in a bed of flowing synths and washing textures the song rests on a wonderfully enchanting vocal performances from the Masterson sisters.

Finding a home within SlowPlaceLikeHome’s glistening soundscape the vocal becomes a part of the tightly weaved production, and falls into the vast sonic territory that the music occupies.

A simply beautiful piece of music (taken from SlowPlaceLikeHome’s debut album Romola – read TLMT’s review here) ‘Cesare’s Principle’ is the kind of song that compels you to become immersed in its world.
