Elbow frontman and songwriter Guy Garvey has announced his debut Irish solo show at the Olympia theatre on December 7th.
Guy Garvey will play the Dublin venue this winter as he tours his brand new solo album Courting the Squall, which is due for release on October 30th.
A break from his acclaimed work as part of alternative-rock act Elbow, Garvey remarked about his first solo outing that he has been ‘graciously afforded some time to pursue something I have wanted to do for ages’.
Unlike his records with Elbow, Courting the Squall will see Garvey in complete control of the music with the musician using live recordings and minimal overdubs to create the desired sound.
