London-based alternative-rock outfit the Maccabees have announced they will headline the Olympia theatre in Dublin on January 16th.

The Maccabees will play the Dublin venue early next year as they continue to tour their long-awaited fourth album Marks to Prove It, which was released this summer (listen to TLMT’s review of the podcast – here).

The follow-up to the group’s 2012 Mercury Music Prize nominated L.P. Given to the WildMarks to Prove It finds the Maccabees continue to change and evolve their sound with the singles ‘Something Like Happiness’ and its title-track.

Tickets to see the Maccabees play the Olympia in Dublin on January 16th are priced at €27.90 includes booking fee standing / Upper Circle or €29.90 includes booking fee Circle view, and will go on pre-sale this Wednesday (September 9th) and general sale this Friday (September 11th) at 9am via  ticketmaster.ie.
