The North Sea return with their fantastic new single ‘Decay’, which has been released as FREE to download track for fans.
Following the band’s stellar headline set at TLMT’s Canalaphonic stage earlier this month, the North Sea return with yet another breath-taking new single that builds on all the promise of ‘Drinking Alone’.
A more forceful and dense affair, ‘Decay’ has a much broader sound to it. The guitars feel weighty, but still keep their post-punk jangle, while Eoin Kenny’s voice maintains the melodic swaying character that made the group’s previous singles so inviting.
With the North Sea’s debut album just over the horizon few will debate the band’s readiness for the larger-scope and feel of a full-length record, as there can be no doubt that they are a group on the brink of something special.
