Túcan & Leo Drezden set for this month’s Goldenbeck

Goldenbeck May

The line-up for the May edition of Claire Beck & Goldenplec presents: Goldenbeck at the Workman’s Club has been announced.

Taking place the Workman’s Club on May, 28th, this month’s Goldenbeck will feature live music from instrumental cinematic folk act Túcan and post-rock group Leo Drezden who recently released their debut album Multi Moment (read TLMT’s review here).

The first Goldenbeck of the summer is shaping up to be a suitably vibrant one musically. With both Túcan & Leo Drezden offering distinctly different but texturally vast takes on the post-rock genre. It will be interesting to see how these two acts work together as a line-up, one following the other.

Previous acts to have appeared as part of the Goldenbeck series include: Buffalo Woman, Loah, Slow Skies, New Secret Weapon, Buffalo Sunn, I Have A Tribe and Wyvern Lingo to name but a few.

Tickets to Goldenbeck at the Workman’s Club on Thursday, May 28th are priced at €5 before 8.30pm and €8 afterwards. Doors are at 8pm, for more information visit the event’s Facebook page here.
