New acts announced for Forbidden Fruit 2015’s Live Live stage

Several new artists have been added to the Forbidden Fruit 2015 line-up today as part of the festival’s new ‘Live Live’ stage (workshop stage).

Formed as a showcase for emerging acts to perform live the at Forbidden Fruit 2015, ‘Live Live’ will be launched on May 21st at the Button Factory with a live set from Frank Wiedemann’s new band the Howling, while the stage itself will run at the festival this June Bank Holiday Weekend.

Set to perform on the ‘Live Live’ stage are: Fatima & the Eglo Band, Whilk & Misky, MC Melodee, Blooms, Sleep Thieves, Rusangano Family, Heroes in Hiding and Rocstrong.

Also joining this year’s line-up are: Floating Points and the Trinity Orchestra who will be performing tracks from Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz.

The new acts will join the previously confirmed Fatboy Slim, Wu Tang Clan, Earl Sweatshirt, Ejeca, Mr. Scruff, Dusky,  Joey Bada$$, Bakermat, Run The Jewels, Matador, Cyril Hahn and Booka Shade to name just a few.

Forbidden Fruit 2015 will take place at the Royal Hospital Grounds, Kilmainham in Dublin from Friday, May 29th to Sunday, May 31st, and will boast over 70 acts across five different stages (Original Stage, Undergrowth, Lighthouse, Someplace Else, and The Workshop).
