Dublin based indie-folk outfit Orchid Collective have released their debut single ‘Figure It Out’.
Delivered with a big, full-on indie-folk production Orchid Collective sounds blends the distinctive harmony lead sounds of the genre with the building, layered guitar work of alternative-rock.
With it’s interchanging rhythms and unyielding large-scale sound ‘Figure It Out’ is a compelling mixture of styles, with Orchid Collective finding a place between the differing pop, folk and indie elements resulting in a sound that is ambitious and defined,
Orchid Collective will celebrate the release of ‘Figure It Out’ with a show in Whelan’s upstairs venue this Thursday (March 12th). Tickets are €5, support on the night comes from We Raise Bears and Joey Gavin.
