The Last Mixed Tape is proud to premiere ‘For You’, the latest single from alternative-rock artist Naoise Roo.
Taken from her forthcoming album Lilith (due for release on April 27th via Little L Records) ‘For You’ is a darkly rhythmical, texturally dense slow-burner from the songwriter.
Channeling an ominous, dominant vocal Roo’s voice imposes itself upon the harmonically howling bang and clatter of the tonally tense backdrop of the music.
A truly individualistic artist, Naoise Roo’s new single alludes to a crafted, immersive theatrically that is simply stunning to behold. How this mood translates to the full-length format of Lilith remains to be seen, but if ‘For You’ is anything to go by we are in for something very special indeed.
