Girl Band return with their new music video for ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?’.
Directed by Bob Gallagher, the video for ‘Why They Hide Their Body Under My Garage’ takes on a suitably harsh, aggressive tone to accompany the building tension and bludgeoning percussive mania of Girl Band’s music.
Seeped in an uneasy visual aesthetic Gallagher uses sudden abrupt cuts in editing to gradually increase the intensely jarring mood of the video.
Mirroring the constant manic build in the song itself the video is persistently and intently moving towards an inevitable aggressive finale of flashing imagery, propelled by Brendan Conroy & Leonard Tone central performances.
As always Girl Band seem to know and understand the relationship between the visual aspects of the group’s work and musical providing a video that is every bit as visceral as their music.
