Dublin based alternative-rock act the North Sea have announced an Irish tour to coincide with the release of their upcoming single ‘Drinking Alone’.

The five-piece will release their new single ‘Drinking Alone’ on February 28th via iTunes, the track will be the follow-up to the North Sea’s acclaimed single ‘In Love’ (released last year). Both songs will feature on the group’s forthcoming debut album.

Soaked in the same atmospheric forward motion that made ‘In Love’ so attention grabbing, ‘Drinking Alone’ is propelled by a pounding rhythm off-set by glistening textural post-punk influenced guitars and a powerful vocal performance.

With 2015 underway the North Sea continue to impress in the build up to their first full length album release, with ‘Drinking Alone’ is an affirmation of the band’s boundless promise.

The North Sea will also embark on a five date Irish tour in support of the single’s release, starting off with a show at Crane Lane in Cork on February 22nd. See full list of dates below.
